As a HS Library Media Specialist...I totally agree! As a HS Library Media Specialist, I order so many graphic novels and the students eat them up! I know that no matter the topic, the GN will get checked out. From classics to manga to biographies these books fly off the shelves. Many times when the new books come in, they are classified somewhere else in nonfiction. We ask our central office to reclassify them to 741.5 because we know our students WILL read them as long as they are shelved with other graphic novels. Another plus is the artwork!
